Content & Demand Generation Manager

Brooklyn, NY, United States of America (Remote)

About Us

At Toolio, we’re on a mission to help retailers navigate the complex, competitive and ever-changing retail landscape so they can deliver what their customers want, when and where they want it.

Merchandise planning is a key retail discipline that has been dominated by manual, error prone spreadsheets, and accurate inventory planning has never been more important.

Toolio’s cloud-based merchandise planning platform was built to help the next-generation of retailers automate critical workflows, gain real-time insights, and make faster, data-driven merchandising decisions.

Toolio is trusted by 100+ leading brands and retailers including Rothy’s, Knix, Filson, Tommy John, Peloton and more.

About the Role

We're hiring a Content & Demand Generation Manager to partner directly with the Head of Marketing on strategy and own execution across content, campaigns, and demand gen.

This isn't a pure execution role. We want someone who can contribute to campaign strategy, pressure-test ideas, and come back with a plan, and who can also ship.

What You'll Do

Demand Generation Strategy & Execution Collaborate with the Head of Marketing to:

  • Develop campaign strategies, taking ideas from brief to full campaign architecture.

  • Contribute to channel mix decisions across organic, paid, email, and events.

  • Own end-to-end campaign execution, performance tracking, and optimization.

  • Support ABM in close coordination with sales.

Content Distribution & Atomization

  • Take each new piece of content and produce downstream assets across LinkedIn, email, and newsletter.

  • Manage the content library and distribution calendar. Identify gaps and keep the pipeline moving.

Marketing Operations & Campaign Execution

  • Build, segment, and send email campaigns in ActiveCampaign.

  • Maintain and improve nurture sequences across inbound, ABM, and re-engagement.

  • Support webinar and event operations end-to-end, from build to post-event follow-up.

AI Workflow Adoption & Optimization

  • Work within Toolio's existing AI-assisted marketing systems.

  • Use AI tools to increase throughput across content, campaign ops, and reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to build or improve workflows that reduce manual lift.

  • Stay current on AI tools relevant to B2B marketing and bring recommendations to the team.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track demand gen performance across channels and surface findings that inform strategy.

  • Monitor web analytics, paid performance, and campaign efficacy.

  • Pull reports and maintain dashboards.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS or a high-growth startup

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to campaign strategy, not just execute someone else's playbook

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation; ActiveCampaign preferred but not required

  • Comfortable using AI tools as a core part of your workflow as a productivity layer you actively use and optimize

  • Familiarity with CMS tools (Webflow a plus), paid channels, and web analytics

  • Strong written communication, you can write a sharp email, a clear social post, and a concise brief

  • Organized and self-directed; comfortable managing multiple workstreams without a lot of hand-holding

  • A bias toward clarity and action, you'd rather move fast and course-correct than wait for a perfect plan

Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, retail tech, or a vertical with complex buying cycles

  • Familiarity with ABM strategy and tools

  • Experience building or iterating on AI-assisted marketing workflows (prompt engineering, tool chaining, automation logic)

  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM

  • Figma/Canva, or basic design sensibility for asset production

Our Company And Founders

Toolio is a global operation with headquarters in NYC and offices in Turkey, built by an ex-Walmart team of second-time entrepreneurs and backed by top VCs and apparel industry executives. Our founders, Berk and Eytan, are serial entrepreneurs who have worked together for almost 10 years. Their previous company, Stylr, was acquired by Walmart Labs in 2014. Over a successful 5 year tenure at Walmart, they lead teams that delivered various groundbreaking products like Sam’s Club Scan & Go and Walmart Pay which reach millions of users and process billions of dollars each year.

During this time, Berk and Eytan observed how the tools used by planners and merchants were years behind the technology they had built for consumers. So they set out on a mission to change this by building a modern merchandising platform, Toolio.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
